Hisana smirked, after entering through the polished white gates once more. Skateboard in hand, bookbag hanging from her right shoulder. She had on her favorite pair of expensive shades, tinted red orange. People around made way, as two of her crew members came in behind her. All three dropped their skateboards on the ground in front of them, holding them there with one foot.
"Keh! Peace o' cake. C'mon guys, let's get ridin'.", she said carelessly chill. Her clique was pretty popular only partly because of their opening show.
Another minute, and you could see them riding around on their skateboards, impressing the crowd. Hisana and the others always did this on the first day of school, and rode around their skateboards pretty much every other day too. She came to a stop when she reached the front of the main building. For the first few days, there were no actual classes. It was all mainly for getting situated with dorms, setting up classes, assigning lockers, all the fancy stuff they got to do. Day students during this time only had to set up classes, their lockers, and then they begun school a day before the students taking residence at the academy.
She kicked up her skateboard into the air to be catched with her hand. Turning around with the other few groupies, she lifted her arms up in the air and waved to signal the end of their performance. The large crowd cheered. She turned around to face the other two.
"Heh, you guys improved since the last time I saw y'all."
The two nodded, and left on their skateboards to ride once more. A man came up behind her with her luggage, and they walked toward the southern part of campus.
"Come. Dorm's on the far end o' campus.", and so he followed her as she walked by as if everything around her was all 'beend there, done that', which it pretty much was, as she'd been there since 7th grade. Nothing new had changed. Oh, how she dreaded listening to people calling it beautiful and fabulous. They made it to the middle of campus behind the main building, coming up toward the recreation building. She stopped walking when saw a bench, and signaled the man to leave her be with her luggage bags to carry and wheel on her own.
