Student Dress Code
The academy does not provide uniforms for its students, believing that they should be able to express themselves more. However, students must wear at least somewhat decent clothing. Hats, short skirts that do not reach at least to the mid section of the thighs, cut up clothing, heavy chains, or other such obviously inappropriate clothing. Other than that, students are free to dress how they want.
Absences & Tardiness
Consistently being late for class can hurt your grades, get you sent to detentions, and other consequences depending on the teacher. There are allowed to be 8 days maximum of unexcused absences, before a student is retained. Students who leave school before 12:00 pm or arrive after 9:30 am for whatever reason will be marked absent for the day. Skipping classes and sleeping in will not tolerated very well.
Dorms
There are three dorm buildings. They are all on seperate ends of campus, one for girls only, boys only, and a coed dormitory on campus. All students of every dorm are expected to be within their own dorms after 11: 30 pm on week nights. Students of one dorm building may visit others within their own building, or another building as long as they follow this rule. There are allowed a minimal amount of pets in a dorm, if any, and they must remain in the dorm at all times when a student is in school. Their owners may come back to check on their pets during a free period, or lunch time. Students may also customize their dorms to fit their personal style, and install televisions, computers and other such electronics, however they must be supplied on their own. The academy will not supply them.
Violence & Bullying
Violence towards others is strictly prohibited, and will not be tolerated. If a student is being bullied by one or more students, they should report to a teacher or another authority that will help them. Depending on the case, punishments can range from a detention to a even being expelled.
Weapons, Drugs & Alchohol
Any type of drugs, alchohol or weapon will not be permitted on school grounds. If any teachers find or have reason to believe you are in possession of illegal substances and are right, you will be in major trouble. Keep yourself and others safe! Do not bring potent weapons nor and types of drug or alchohol, unless you're looking for trouble. And that's just what you'll get.
